✍️ Lyinterando Project

When a woman writes her story, she transforms the world around her

The Lyinterando Project was born at the intersection of words, listening, and courage. It is a cultural initiative that believes in writing as a tool for expression, self-awareness, and social transformation, dedicated to women who carry powerful stories, memories, and life experiences — but who, for different reasons, have never had the opportunity to publish them.

More than a literary project, Lyinterando is a space of welcome, collective creation, and strengthening of female identity. A place where words cease to be silence and become voice.

Leading the creation and coordination of the Lyinterando Project is Sandra Luz, a woman who has dedicated many years of her life to care, attentive listening, and the empowerment of women. An actress, writer, therapist, and facilitator of women’s groups, Sandra began Lyinterando in a genuinely altruistic and heartfelt way, driven by the deep desire to create spaces where women could recognize their own voice, reclaim their stories, and awaken to their personal and collective journeys.

Her work is marked by sensitivity, presence, and the ability to gather women around words, sharing, and self-discovery, always inviting each participant to access her inner strength, memory, and creative power. At Lyinterando, Sandra does more than coordinate a project — she sustains a space of welcome, expression, and transformation, where writing becomes an act of courage, healing, and freedom.

Writing as Expression, Literature as Belonging

Lyinterando promotes access for Brazilian women to writing, publishing, and the circulation of original literary works, valuing diverse narratives that are often marginalized or invisible. Ordinary women with extraordinary stories find in the project the opportunity to transform their experiences into books, building bridges between memory, imagination, and future.

Throughout each edition, participating authors engage in in-person gatherings, literary soirées, and discussion circles that encourage original writing — whether autobiographical, poetic, or fictional. The process respects the time, sensitivity, and uniqueness of each voice, understanding literature as a path toward symbolic expression and emotional empowerment.

From Manuscript to Book: Publishing and Distribution

At Lyinterando, writing does not remain hidden in a drawer. Each selected author goes through a complete process of editing, proofreading, layout design, and publication, with books released in both printed and digital formats.

Launch events take place in collective gatherings and open literary soirées, creating moments of celebration, attentive listening, and exchange among authors, readers, and communities. The circulation of these works expands the reach of the stories and contributes to the formation of new readers, strengthening the presence of women’s literature in the territories where the project operates.

In addition, the project structures commercialization channels that guarantee direct financial return to the authors, recognizing writing as work, cultural production, and part of the creative economy.

Self-Knowledge, Self-Esteem, and Support Networks

In Lyinterando, writing is also a path of care. By narrating their stories, many women process memories, reinterpret experiences, and strengthen their self-esteem. The project serves as a safe space for listening and sharing, where encounters with other women create networks of support, belonging, and collaboration.

Thus, Lyinterando transcends its artistic dimension and establishes itself as a cultural initiative with deep social impact, promoting female protagonism, equal opportunities, and the appreciation of diverse narratives.

Culture that Transforms Communities

Held in different Brazilian states, the Lyinterando Project strengthens local cultural networks, community libraries, reading spaces, and literary collectives. Part of its mission includes social counterparts such as donating books to schools and libraries, organizing free literary events, and providing open-access digital content.

Each published book is also a political and cultural gesture: a woman occupying space, telling her story, and inspiring others to do the same.

An Invitation to Listen and Transform

Lyinterando is an invitation to listen carefully to the stories that have always existed but were not always able to be told.
It is an invitation to recognize women’s writing as creative, social, and transformative power.
It is an invitation to support culture as a tool for care, memory, and future.

Because when a woman writes, she does not write only a book — she rewrites her own life.
